Description

  • 08:00 Pickup from your cruise ship at Laem Chabang Port and travel 30 minutes to the Sanctuary of Truth which is located in North Pattaya. The Sanctuary of Truth is a magnificent wooden castle by the sea adorned with beautiful sculptures and carvings that reflect peace and wisdom. The Sanctuary of Truth is the largest wooden building in Thailand and was built using traditional Thai carpentry techniques. Inside this sanctuary there are many beautiful wooden statues, engravings and wooden carvings. The Sanctuary of Truth is an oasis of artisan beauty and serenity.
  • After the Sanctuary of Truth you will travel to Phra Tamnak Mountain Viewpoint which is located close to Bali Hai Cape in Pattaya. Phra Tamnak Mountain Viewpoint is an impressive scenic viewpoint which is set atop a highpoint and offers panoramic views of the curved, sandy coastline of Pattaya Beach and Pattaya Bay. There is also a local temple with a giant Buddha statue located near the top of Phra Tamnak Mountain Viewpoint and the atmosphere is serene whilst the views are stunning.
  • Lunch at local restaurant.
  • After lunch you will travel to Khao Chi Chan also known as Buddha Mountain which features the outline of a giant Buddha image engraved into the rockface of a limestone hill. The image of a seated Buddha in the attitude of subduing Mara is known as Maha Vajira Uttamobhassada which means the great prophet who brings enlightenment. The area surrounding the mount features some pretty gardens, lotus ponds and pavilions and is a lovely place to relax in the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful surroundings.
  • 14:00 Return to your cruise ship at Laem Chabang Port.
