  • 09:00 Pickup from your hotel in Bangkok and travel to visit the Grand Palace and Emerald Buddha. The Grand Palace is a must-see for any traveller. From 1782 until 1925 this collection of elegant buildings was home to the Kings of Siam (later Thailand). The Grand Palace is a public museum and historical site that is still utilised for special occasions.
  • Next to the Grand Palace is the Wat Pho which is also known as Wat Phra Chetuphon or the Temple of the Reclining Buddha. It is one of the city’s oldest and greatest temples, notable for its magnificent architecture, excellent artwork, and the distinctive giant reclining Buddha statue.
  • After the Wat Pho you will travel just a short distance to the Wat Arun also known as the Temple of Dawn. It is regarded as one of the city’s most recognisable monuments and is noted for its unusual architectural design and expansive views of the river and the skyline.
  • Lunch at local restaurant.
  • After lunch you will travel to Jim Thompson House. Jim Thompson House is a well-known museum in Bangkok. It is a selection of 6 traditional Thai teak houses that was once owned by Jim Thompson who was an American businessman and art collector and did a lot to spread the word about Thai silk around the world. Jim Thompson House is known for its beautiful interiors which are filled with paintings, sculptures, ceramics and old furniture from Jim Thompson’s huge collection of Asian art. Jim Thompson House is surrounded by beautiful gardens and has a serene and calm atmosphere and is a popular place for people who want to learn about Thai history and Thai culture. There is also a huge selection of beautiful Thai silk on view in a retail area of Jim Thompson House where authentic Thai silk can be purchased.
  • After Jim Thompson House you will travel to the Pak Khlong Talat Flower Market. Pak Khlong Talat Flower Market is the biggest wholesale flower market in Bangkok. It is in the middle of the city near the Chao Phraya River and is a popular place to purchase flowers. You will find a myriad of colourful flowers on offer such as roses, orchids, lilies, marigolds and lotuses amidst a vibrant and colourful atmosphere. Pak Khlong Talat Flower Market is also an excellent spot for photographers as the colorful blooms and busy scenes provide numerous photo opportunities.
  • From Pak Khlong Talat Flower Market you will then travel the short distance to Chinatown also known as Yaowarat. Chinatown is a dynamic and bustling neighbourhood in Bangkok. It is one of the city’s oldest and most famous Chinese communities with a distinct blend of Chinese and Thai cultures, traditions and food. Chinatown’s small lanes of market stalls, shops and restaurants are a sensory delight. The district’s street food scene is famous for dim sum, roasted duck, seafood and Chinese desserts. Locals and tourists alike love the lively food vendors and eateries.
